We always need and welcome assistants at training sessions.
Assistants perform vital functions such as throwing dummies, firing starting pistols and generally helping the instructor with training. This assistance is crucial as it ensures that the instructor can focus on the dogs enabling members to get the best out of each session. As a ''dummy chucker'' you will be in the thick of it, watching and being involved with the dogs working up close and showing off their skills.
If you already bring your dog to training, have you thought about bringing your partner and/or children along to help out. If you're planning on joining the Club, by all means bring other family members, they're always welcome to help out.
If you'd like to be a Training Assistant at any of the sessions, please make any trainer aware of this when we group together before splitting off into the classes.
